This poem was handed out at Shan's funeral to remind people that it would be ok to talk about him.
The mention of my child's name.
May bring a tear to my eyes.
But it never fails to bring music to my ears,
If you are really my friend,let me hear the beautiful music of his name.
It soothes my broken heart and it sings to my soul.

We miss you every day my sweet little man....
We might not voice it every day day but you are there in our thoughts. Sometimes I  can hear you laughing in my head when I do something silly...(which is quite often as you know) LOL
I love you so so so much and miss you just as much.

It has been 4 yrs since Shannon ( Shiffty ) left us to join a higher Army, but it seems like a second since I heard that laugh that will never fade from my thoughts, Shannon I miss you mate, your5 funy ways your smile, that sly grin everything about you has stuck in my heart, hope you are happy & not getting up to too much mischief, love mate always will, see you later.
