Shannon John Mark Lawler:

In Loving Memory

of

Shannon John Mark Lawler

29th August 2000

18th June 2006

How we came about:

Shannon was born with a skin condition called Congenital Melanocytic Nevus/Naevus.

As the name says it can turn to Melanoma.

In our case it did and within 4 months of being diagnosed as

" terminally ill"

Shannon was gone.

So we became Shannon's Army marching on in his honour making quilts for kids living with cancer.

It is now 2016 and we make a variety of quilts now, there are heard you aren't doing so well quilts, cheer me up quilts, bereavement quilts, and just because I can
quilts. :-)))

If you have met me you know I am a little strange and I don't really need a reason to give a quilt. (LOL)
Much love
Erika

Why the name Shannon's Army?

Shannon's passion was the defence force mainly the Army. He had his own little uniform and he wore it proudly. Shannon got to spend a few days with Australia's finest service men. Those days are cherished by us the family and will never be forgotten ...Fella's you know who you are...Thank you!!! But the Blackhawk ride was a highlight..LOL

You only ever saw Shannon in 2 ways.

1. Army Uniform

2. Naked

LOL

I think people preferred the 1st option.LOL

Love leaves a memory no-one can steal
